Brookhaven Retreat is a nationally recognized women’s residential substance abuse facility seeking a Housekeeper.

 

Requirements:

  • Experience in facility housekeeping preferred
  • Must have at least 2 years of recent housekeeping experience

 

Responsibilities:

  • Vacuum all carpet and wood floors as needed and damp mop wood floors daily and as needed.
  • Empty trash and replace bags daily.
  • Dust tables, headboards, reading lights, light switches, electric outlets, windowsills and doorknobs daily.
  • Disinfect rooms and furniture twice a week.
  • Strip beds and pull dirty towels twice a week.
  • Strip beds and pull dirty towels twice a week.
  • Wash and dry linens and put away clean linens daily.
  • Thoroughly clean and disinfect all rooms once a client has been moved out and prepare room for new client as needed.
  • Stock paper towels, toilet paper and soaps in bathrooms daily.
  • Clean complete surface of shower walls, tubs, toilets and mirrors daily.
  • Sweep and mop bathroom floors, clean sinks and counter tops daily.
  • Empty large trash cans into dumpster and sweep up around dumpster daily.
  • Dust all surfaces in laundry rooms, sweep, mop and check lights daily.
  • Complete and FAX- In order Form of needed supplies for housekeeping and check with dining staff for any needed items weekly.
  • Attends in-house professional development trainings as offered throughout the year.
  • Other duties as assigned which my include assisting maintenance with emptying ashtrays, sweeping outside walkways, breezeway and stairs and deck.

The Clinical Director is responsible for the management and planning of how services are delivered through developing policies and procedures that help the organization maintain compliance with evidence-based practices, industry standards and health care laws and regulations.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assuring the quality of services delivered to all residents through the use of evidence-informed practice and oversight of multidisciplinary, client-specific treatment plans
  • Regular evaluation of clinical services to insure their overall effectiveness and that they are consistent with the social, emotional, physical, mental, behavioral, spiritual, needs of the clients.
  • Ensure that services delivered are consistent with licensure and accreditation requirements.
  • Holds clinical authority in urgent and emergent cases.

 

Education and Experience:

  • Master's degree in relevant field, Social Work Preferred
  • Five years of supervisory or managerial experience in a co-occurring/clinical setting required
  • Extensive knowledge of the principles, techniques and practices of behavioral health services
  • Extensive knowledge of DBT and its application in a residential setting
  • Extensive knowledge of the methods and procedures used in diagnosing and treating psychiatric/substance abuse/co-occurring disorders.
  • Thorough knowledge of the current trends and developments in the field of behavioral health, with particular attention to addictions and co-occurring disorders
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate the practices, techniques and treatment procedures employed by clinical and non-clinical staff.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based practices for treating women with substance abuse/co-occurring disorders

 

Licensure/Certification Desired:

  • Licensed independently in the state of Tennessee
  • LCSW or LMFT

Brookhaven Retreat's Program Counselors perform a direct care role and are responsible for performing a wide variety of client care activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for client safety and care under the direction of the nursing staff and Program Director.
  • Maintain quality of care through personal connection and one-on-one service to clients.
  • Orient new clients and represent the program by providing comfort and guidance during first 72 hours of client’s stay.
  • Ensure client understanding and completion of projects as assigned by primary therapists.
  • Conduct experiential groups aimed at creating life-skills, functionality, independence and wellness in women.
  • Ensure clients attend therapy and experiential groups throughout the day.
  • Perform room checks, accompaniment to hospital of clients in a medical emergency and assistance with household duties.
  • Document client status daily in Program Counselor shift report.
  • Ensure client safety through regular and precautionary checks on each client.


Education and Experience
Master's degree in social work, psychology or other human relations field preferred. 
Bachelor's with 2-3 years strong work experience in substance abuse and/or mental health required.

Licensure/Certification Desired
F-endorsement on current driver’s license is required.

Skills and Abilities
Ability to listen to and soothe clients.
Knowledge of state and federal statutes regarding patient confidentiality laws.
Proficient in written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to excel in a direct care role caring for women with complex mental health and substance abuse issues.

Schedule
Four 10-hour days, schedule options include:

Brookhaven Retreat is a nationally recognized women’s residential substance abuse facility seeking experienced registered nurses.

The successful candidate will have a thorough working knowledge of nursing practices, client care, charting, etc. They will assist clients with detoxification, medication management, and monitoring of general well being.

A BSN or ASN Degree is required. Candidate must have a current Tennessee State License along with their BLS and First Aid certifications.

A Primary Therapist is needed to provide mental health/substance abuse/co-occurring assessments, crisis management and psychotherapeutic interventions to the women residing at Brookhaven Retreat.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Complete diagnostic assessments and mental status examinations and work with staff to translate this information into practical, multidisciplinary treatment plans
  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions daily
  • Complete high quality, timely charting and treatment plans according to agency policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with families, outside treaters, etc. to assure their integration into the treatment planning process, as indicated


Education and Experience
Master's degree in mental health, social work, psychology or related human service field required. Ph.D. preferred.
Three years experience in a co-occurring/psychiatric setting
Training and experience in comprehensive assessments and crisis intervention in residential settings is preferred
Experience working in gender-specific female settings is preferred

Licensure/Certification Desired
Licensure to practice clinical discipline in Tennessee, required in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health counselor and/or Certified Addiction Professional.

Position is full-time working Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
